Smart Barn enables the end user to create secure prefabricated outbuildings, barns or storage units combined with large open space suitable for either garaging of plant and machinery and large vehicles or as a grain store, within the matter of days. The smallest option offers approximately 400 square feet of common space combined with a further 2 x 160 square feet of secure self contained storage.

Smart Barns prefabricated buildings system is based on the supply of all the components required for a self assembly prefabricated building whose foundations are shipping containers.

Shipping containers have become ubiquitous throughout the world are are used in a multitude of stand-alone situations.

Smart Barn have taken theses applications a step further.

The shipping containers are disguised from being utilitarian boxes into integral components of a much larger prefabricated building whose shape and lines present a modern, attractive form. The containers are barely recognisable once the barn is complete.

Shipping containers are offered either new or used depending on budget. Indeed the building can be supplied to fit existing containers. The entire framework of the prefabricated building is fixed to the containers meaning the excavation for footings is not required. Often a level hard standing already exists and so a Smart Barn can be set into it, or alternatively if a hard standing is required it can be created to be integral with the structure. The alternative is to locate two containers on our template system which can be used on most terrain types and build up from there.
